The Secretary’s Report was read
by Phil Warrington and approved with one correction. Treasurer Brandeberry
noted that he previously reported the $700 paid to Stacy’s Place for hall
rental was an increase of $100.00 and it should have been reported as a
decrease of $100.00 from the previous year’s rental. Treasurer’s report was
read by Chuck Brandeberry and was approved as read.
OLD BUSINESS
The March 25th Spring Coin
Show was a success. Chairman Otto
Blackburn thanked all who helped with the show in any way with special thanks
to Eric Beidelschies heading up registration, Randy
Burk and Rich McClellan as top Raffle ticket sellers and Harry Colvin for procuring
two Boy Scouts to help Gary Phelps run electric cords. Chuck Brandeberry gave a
glowing financial report with the club making $1462.41 profit; by far our best
show ever! Great Job FCC Members!
NEW BUSINESS
1.
The Secretary reported that we have 55 active members for this year. 27 are
receiving newsletters via email and 28 by USPS. Six members have not paid dues
for 2012 and are now Inactive.

First readings for new membership were given for Joey England of

Several members brought items in to share. Phil Warrington showed proof sets
dated 1941, 1942 & 1954. Bill Geckle shared
foreign currency made of plastic. Denny Hall had a love token made from a
Seated Liberty Quarter and Stan Sayre had 10,000 Mark Notes from

regarding current Pre-Listed Auction. The member was requesting to bring in
lots on meeting night. It was explained that this was the practice about 14
years ago and that the current
system
was developed to avoid all the confusion and uncertainty experienced in the
past. Also this format is when the club news letter was developed.

Scott Hopkins reported that Barbara Marley legal agent for FCC has died this
week. She did the paperwork to enable the club to maintain “Non Profit” status.
Phil Warrington will contact her office at a later date for future guidance in
this matter.
6. Chuck Brandeberry announced
that he is “Resigning as FCC Treasurer” effective immediately at the end of
tonight’s meeting. He indicated that he does not enjoy the financial
responsibility of the position. Otto
Meeting was adjourned by a
motion from Bruce Hanny with a 2nd by Stan Sayre. Door prizes, a 1968 proof set was won
by Bruce Hanny and 1970 proof set by Phil Warrington. Denny Hall conducted a 25
lot auction.
